1922 Wholesale/retail store "Sasaki Shop", seller of sake and soy sauce was established in Yokogawa, Hiroshima City. "Sasaki Shop" was founded by Seiichi Sasaki.
1938 Started manufacturing brewed vinegar
1945 "Sasaki shop" was burned down due to World War II.
1946 Resumed brewing vinegar by borrowing a facility from the sake brewer after the burned down.
1950 Started manufacturing and selling the sauce product
1952 Relocated the factory to Oshiba-cho in Hiroshima City.
Otafuku Zousu Co., Ltd was established.
The new product "Okonomiyaki sauce" was released.
1960 The new product "Yakisoba sauce" was released.
1964 The new product "Takoyaki sauce" was released.
1969 Tsutomu Sasaki assumed the role of the 2nd President.
1975 The company name was changed to Otafuku Sauce Co., Ltd.

1979 Shigeaki Sasaki assumed the role of the 3rd president.

1987 Established Tokyo Branch Office and Okonomiyaki Training Center
1990 Daiwa Factory was inaugurated.
1994 Teruo Sasaki assumed the role of the 4th President.
1998 Okonomiyaki Training Centers was established in Nagoya, Osaka, and Fukuoka.
Sasaki Yasufumi assumed the role of the 5th President.
Okonomiyaki R&D department was established.
2000 Okonomiyaki Training Center was established in Okayama.
2003 Otafuku Group certified for ISO9001.
2005 Business and capital alliance formed with Union Sauce.
Shigeki Sasaki assumed the role of the 6th President.
2006 Okonomiyaki Training Center was established in Takamatsu, relocated the sales office.
2008 Wood Egg Okonomiyaki Museum was inaugurated.
2009 Corporate name changed to holding company Otafuku Group Co., Ltd.
Okonomiyaki Training Center was established in Sendai, relocated the sales office.
